We are checking in for our
“seasonal checkup” with our dear friend, Nurse Torie. Torie and the
Moms on the Loose talk about school nurses and the sh*t kids say at
school, brand new developments for our favorite FaceTiming doctors
at Virtual Pediatrics, PANDAS (not the bear...the scary strep
infection), and water safety for the summer.
As always, we are grateful to Torie for sharing her medical
knowledge and breaking it down to layman’s terms so the Moms on the
Loose can understand it. We want to wish her and the rest of the
Urgent Care for Kids team congratulations on their success with
Virtual Pediatrics and their many clinics all over Texas. If you
haven’t checked it out... its a must see! FaceTiming a pediatrician
from the comfort of your home is a game changer. urgentcarekids.com
We also want to shine a light on a wonderful organization called
Colin’s Hope. Through a tragic water accident (under watchful
eyes), the Holst family lost their son, Colin, to drowning. They
bravely turned this tragedy into a quest to keep other families
safe in the water. Their website offers very helpful water safety
tips and is definitely worth a read so everyone can have a fun,
SAFE summer. www.colinshope.org
